I probably shouldn’t, and it is probably a reflection on myself, but it crosses my mind that some who read here may think: “Easy for you to say.” Actually, the opposite is true because I was once young and partially vacant of mind. In other words, I hadn’t enough experience to call a foul when I saw or heard one. In fact, once I learned to call a foul I untethered myself as a Democrat. After that I became apolitical for a few decades to take the time to assess our political system.
I left the Democrat Party a few years after Vietnam and my getting an earful of how heartless and cruel we all were in that war. War is war is war. The same type of obfuscation that gives leeway to the fact that it was Democrats who got that war started then, lost it.
So, I don’t consider my combat tours there a waste of time because I felt it was my duty and that because I so much appreciate America. I was raised this way, had doubts, then took a look around me. Yeah, I thought, it is the Democrats who got us started in Vietnam then lied about our savagery in that war. I can’t tell you for certain that some Army or Marine or Navy men had necklaces of Viet Cong ears around their necks but neither can those who made that story up as they weren’t there. It is, however, just what Democrats are now doing as concerns Trump. All lies and now proven, through court battles, to be lies.
Not content with going after just Trump they also went after his family. Talk about Nazis! Had they taken this a little further, and some were on that course, they would have condemned to death the family of Trump with nothing but trumped up charges.
You see, combat and war and the mindset of both is what a soldier, Marine of Navy man comes home with. It is not easy to regain civilian attitudes once you have killed many. What it does allow is an uncanny ability to assess truth versus lies. The brilliance of this world, once pealed back, shows a fetid underbelly. The Democrats exist there eating their own and any who stray too close to them. I give you the lying Chuckie Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, et al. Think on it, if you have the courage to think clearly.
