The concept that so many are now rejecting is our creator. The one from whom we came to be. A person would think that to believe He exists would be no more difficult than watching the sky at night. Understanding the depth of thought, not a cosmic accident, that brought us one dark scene which we could spend our lives admiring and wondering at.
I first heard about the, “Big Bang,” theory in the 1970s. I spent a good part of a day chuckling at the inanity of such a theory. I am no astronomer but I do sometimes allow myself to think critically. Such as when solving an atomic problem using basic algebra to solve the valence and co-valence of a atom’s electrons. The fact that mathematics has become the relative truth to understand this universe points to understanding creation only through the means available to the human mind. It doesn’t come close to the reality of the creative force or mind of God. It misses reality because we choose to solve this kind of problem by our standards and God creates by His standards. The gap between the two standards is the size of our universe.
It pays to have humility when we speak of God and the night sky proves this to generation after generation. But d we operate by this humility? Only a very few and that corresponds with what is written in the bible. Many are called but few will accept the calling. Food for thought, I think.
