Since this world began people have always been seeking something more that what human kind has to offer. This is most likely the reason that two words were invented millennia ago: eternity and infinity. Simple words embracing the tremendous idea of, “Never Ending.” Were it not for those two words we would not be seeking beyond our rather short lives. The fact that each of us do wonder, seek, or yearn for more beyond our existence cannot be dismissed as day dreams for there are facts that come into this methodology of thought. The Bible supports these views but in a disciplined way.
I want to speak of faith here because faith has seen me through both combat and normal life. There is more to say about this topic than I have years left to speak of it. I do want to speak of it but in a way that brings hope and does not preach. Preaching must be accepted only when hope is roused. Hope is a thing many are without now and this is a sad commentary on our times. Yet, these times are written of since Christ walked the earth. Therefore, this is nothing new but has been accepted by millions who steer their lives by his words alone. There are other words though and those are the words of God.
From the Ten Commandments to the prophets to the Bible to the churches His word is learned and spoken even to this day. IN other words, since Day One of our existence God has made Himself known to us. Why?
Why has the creator of all of this universe chosen to ask us to join Him? Are we not to sinful and simple a species to even warrant His knowing we are here? He knows me. He knows you. But, do you know Him?
Allow me, please, to introduce God to you. You can accept or reject Him due to your free will which He gave you. Did you know that it is His gift to you that you have choice? He does not want slaves forced to believe Him, He wants free thinking and loving people to follow Him. That was His choice and we can greatly benefit from knowing Him. Ah, but is there enough time to change or turn in our ways? Barely, but time is on your side for a few brief moments in your lives. Your short lives in which to do right or wrong for yourselves.
